My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Perry is a sweet boy, who loves attention from people, but is wary of other cats- they pick on him! For that reason, he has some marking issues that we're working on, & we recommend that he be an only cat, or maybe with a very friendly, non- dominant cat in his new home. He really is a sweet boy, he just gets picked on for some reason. **If you are interested in adoption, please go to our website at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to fill out the Cat Adoption Application. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV negative (unless noted), microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Our adoption fee for cats is free will to approved applicants.**

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
