Here's what the humans have to say about me:
“Have you seen the new cat? He followed me down the block!” Three neighbors told me this on the same day. Sure enough, that night the new cat followed me, meowing for food and telling me in no uncertain terms that he did not like being outside! This gentle boy had obviously been a house cat, and was determined to be one again. We think he came from a nearby house where people had cats that they loved, but couldn't properly care for. So when they moved, they left Tracer and the other cats behind to fend for themselves.
Tracer is the cuddliest cat you could ever imagine. The first time I sat down near him, I was astonished when he hopped right into my lap and “hugged” me with his paws. He never gets tired of being snuggled and pet. Tracer loves everyone—human and feline alike—and in return, everyone loves him. To Tracer, a stranger is just a friend he hasn’t met yet. He would enjoy living with a playful feline buddy and has become BFFs with cat in his foster home. They love to cuddle, wrestle, and play chase. Tracer is unbelievably sweet and chill, so would probably do well with children too.
Tracer is about 4 years old and has FIV. FIV is very hard to transmit, so it’s perfectly safe for him to live with cats who do not have FIV. Tracer had never been to a vet before he was rescued, so the FIV had affected his teeth, and a bunch of them had to be removed. He will need regular checkups (as all pets do) to make sure that doesn't happen again. But overall, his health is excellent.
Tracer is a sweet, loving, and easy-going cat who would be good for a first-time owner or an experienced one. If you want a big, sweet, fur-buddy to cuddle with, come and meet Tracer. He might be exactly the cat you’ve been waiting for.
