Beautiful mahogony boy Justice was pulled from a shelter the day before he was scheduled to be euthanized due to over-crowing. He was housed with 2 other large male dogs and never had any problems. He came here and just loves the other dogs and the freedom to run and play. He is just a big ole' over grown baby who still trips over his own feet at times. He has not been around kids since coming here, but he is so gentle with everyone, I don't see a problem except maybe trying to sit in their laps. He sleeps all night in his crate without a peep and is learning it is not OK to hike his leg in the house. He does well on a leash too. I'm sure he has never seen the inside of a house before! Adult dogs have had their core vaccines---parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies, All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative. In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. Most dogs come with a micr-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 235.00- 275.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog. In addition, some of our dogs are fostered in the South and come up once adopted---There is an additional transport fee for these dogs. We are very careful in placing our dogs--and look for the best home for each dog--All of our dogs are fostered in private homes, with fosters who get to know the dogs and know the types of home that would be best for each dog.
