My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful little Parker is a pure bred black and tan female Dachshund. This girl is UTD on shots, is spayed, housebroken and can use a doggy door, and is already microchipped.

She came to us from her previous owner who decided he just couldn't give her the time she truly deserved. It was a very hard decision for him, but he put her needs first. She has been very well cared for and loved and it shows. She would do best with a family where someone is home most of the time-- like a stay at home mom or retired couple.

She is being fostered in a home with 2 young kids and she is amazing with them. She also has a foster sister (terrier mix) who is 1.5 yrs and is a bit much to handle, always wanting to play, but Parker handles it well. When she has had enough she will give a tiny bark, but never snap. She would love to have a dog sibling, just maybe one with a little less energy and spunk.

Parker loves to go on walks, and she sets a good pace with those little legs! She is used to being a spoiled girl and sleeping in bed, and is free to roam the house during the day.
