Please submit an application AND do NOT also contact the shelter. You will be contacting both the adoption coordinator and the marketing director, who do not see each other's emails. This causes confusion.
ARIA is gigantic amounts of affection and smiles tied up in an adorable little package! She is constantly cheerful with the entire back half of her body wagging instead of just her tail. She is so precious that narrowing down her photos to 4 for adoptapet was quite the challenging task. ARIA is also smart as a whip! She is as friendly as the Walmart greeter and fantastic with children. She lives in a foster home with 3 kiddos ranging from 4 years to 10 years old (The little girl in the photo is the 4 year old). She loves to snuggle, play, and go absolutely anywhere. She is fabulous in the car so she is a fixture in the carpool line at school.
ARIA shares her foster home with a pup named Lily. They are great buddies and can be found snuggled up next to each other often. The girls are fabulous hostesses so neighborhood dog friends frequently come over for play dates. ARIA and Lily both adore soaking up cuddles and attention from their foster family. They also thoroughly enjoy playing ball and chase in the back yard. ARIA is a dream to be around. She is Miss Personality Plus! She is just over a year old, about 30 lbs, crate trained and house trained! She is sure to bring a lifetime of joy to her lucky forever family.
ARIA is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes her interstate health certificate and cost of transport once she is adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
