Please submit an application and do not also contact the shelter. You will be contacting both the adoption coordinator and the marketing director, who do not see each other's emails. This causes confusion.
Little ROXY is as sweet as she is precious. She is an endless supply of adorableness and affection. She loves to play outside with her doggie friends, then curl up with them (or in a human lap) for a long puppy nap. ROXY's other joys in life are kisses, belly rubs, and being carried like a baby. She is well socialized with both people and other dogs so she is always thrilled to see everyone she encounters. She is a happy, curious puppy with a quieter, more mild mannered demeanor than her sister. She is catching on to potty training quickly and is a wonderful car passenger. As of 12/18/16 ROXY is 10 weeks old so now it is time for her bring joy to the hearts of her lucky forever family!
ROXY will be mirochipped and vaccinated as many times as age will allow when she arrives at her forever home.
Her $450 adoption fee includes transport to the Knoxville area.

ALL OF OUR DOGS START THEIR JOURNEY IN MEMPHIS, TN WHERE THEY REMAIN WITH LOVING FOSTER FAMILIES UNTIL THEY ARE ADOPTED. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
