My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maggie is the dog for you if you've promised yourself that you are going to walk and exercise more. She will be your perfect partner. Maggie came to us after her owner died and she was taken in by a compassionate friend. However, Maggie did not receive much exercise in the last two years and we are working hard to get her healthy again. Maggie weights about 60 pounds now and has amazing energy now. Maggie finds much joy in life. She starts wagging her tail as soon as you wake up in the morning (we lovingly call her Thunder Tail because she tends to whack it on the dresser quite loudly) and she is happy to go anywhere and do anything. At our house, she goes on daily walks and enjoys regular visits to the dog park. She makes friends with everyone she meets and fits in easily with both the dogs, cats, and visitors in our home. Maggie likes kids too. She would love to be fussed over by little ones brushed, dressed up, anything that makes her the center of attention. She is dog door trained and has perfect manners in the house. She will play with a toy or ball for a short period of time but isn't intense about it. Maggie does have some underlying metabolic issues that may affect her health in the future. For now, she is a happy and sassy girl who would be a super easy, super sweet pet for any home.
