Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sweetie! Her name could not be more fitting!
Sweetie is a 6 year old sweetheart who was a "Momma" to puppies in a research facility. She was released to our Lab to Leash program, and has been retired since early October. She is thoroughly enjoying her retirement and learning how to be a loved house-pet of leisure! Her puppies have been adopted - and now it is her turn to be spoiled & loved in a forever home!
Sweetie gets along very well with all of the dogs in her current foster home, and is basically disinterested in the cats! (Not very typical for beagles, but typical for Sweetie!) She has been very tolerant of the younger dogs in her foster home and enjoys playing with them for a while, but she really prefers human attention.
Sweetie is making progress with her house- and crate-training, although the rain and snow has caused some back-sliding. She will need adopters willing to continue working on this with her! She has started to scratch at the door to ask to go out in her foster home, so she is making progress! It is just not totally reliable yet!
Sweetie is learning to walk on leash, and enjoys quiet walks with lots of sniffing time! She rides well tethered in the car and unlike most of our Lab to Leash beagles, does NOT get car-sick!! YAY!
Sweetie has not met anybody she hasnât liked, and really just wants pets and belly rubs. She is initially shy on approach, but comes around. :) She enjoys cuddling, but does not get on the furniture, although if you lift her up next to you she will snuggle in next to you for as long as you are there. :) Overall, Sweetie is a wonderful, medium-low energy, easy to please girl, and would love to be in a house where she can get a lot of people attention!!
