How big do Finnish Lapphunds get?

Finnish Lapphunds are medium-sized dogs. Healthy adult males and females should weigh 33 to 53 pounds. Females tend to stand 16 to 19 inches tall at the shoulders, and males typically measure 18 to 21 inches tall. 

In comparison to similar breeds, Finnish Lapphunds are a bit larger than Spitz-type breeds such as the Finnish Spitz (20 to 33 pounds), American Eskimo Dog (25 to 35 pounds), Swedish Lapphund (30 to 45 pounds) and Swedish Vallhund (20 to 35 pounds).
