How big do Feist dogs get?

Feists are small to medium-sized dogs. According to the UKC, mature male and female Mountain Feists and Treeing Feists should stand 12 to 18 inches at the shoulders and weigh 12 to 30 pounds. Feists on the smaller size of their height and weight range are comparable to the Jack Russell Terrier. They share a similar height and weight range to Rat Terriers. 

Because many described types of Feist dogs are more like mixed-breed pups without formal breed standards, you may find that your canine pal’s mature size is outside of this range.
