Do Komondors have hair or fur?

Komondors have hair rather than fur. Komondor hair is composed of a soft, woolly undercoat and a coarse outer coat. As they mature, these two types of hair intertwine to form cords. Like human hair, Komondor hair continues to grow throughout the dog’s life. The cords can grow quite long if not trimmed.
