2. We will pre-screen your application to see if you will progress in the process
3. Phone interview with someone from PTR
4. Home check submitted via a walking home tour via video
5. Meet and greet at the fosters home
6. Email sent to adopter with the Adoption Contract to be completed, signed and returned.
7. Non-refundable Adoption Fee paid to Rescue


Notes:
There may be multiple applications for certain dogs and cats.

Do not apply if the dog or cat will be left outdoors unattended.

Do not apply if the dog or cat will be crated for more than 4 hrs per day

We carefully screen all adopters. Not every applicant will progress in the process.

Pawsitive Tails to Remember is a section 501(c)(3) no-kill rescue group. We are a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to restoring the dogs and cats under our care to physical and emotional health as they await placement in loving, responsible homes.Virtually all donated funds will be spent directly on the care of the animals.

Pawsitive Tails to Remember only rescues in Southern California, and provides adoptions in state only. If you are out of state, you must travel in person to meet the pet and to travel hone with your new family member. WE DO NOT DO GROUND TRANSPORT.

Pawsitive Tails to Remember is focused with getting our dogs and cats into great forever homes, with families who appreciate and love their furry friends.

We require an adoption application which will tell us something about your home and your ability to provide the necessary safeguards and environment for a dog ie fencing, daily walks and exercise, veterinary care, good quality food etc..
Once your best buddy has been identified we require an adoption contract and waiver, as well as an adoption fee.
