Our president from Napa has been saving, training and advocating for German Shepherds since 2010.
With the recent passing of measure A and the increasing amount of Shepherds ending up in our local shelter we saw the need for a community based German Shepherd Rescue.
We are a foster based rescue, this means each dog we rescue lives in our home so we can get to know them.
We believe having a foster based organization allows us to assess needs, canine temperament and most importantly what environment is key for success. We believe in Quality vs Quantity.
We have started sponsoring free obedience classes to help both the human and the canine communicate more effectively These classes are held in the summer months.

Canines have unique temperaments, Our goal is to find the home that meets each K-9 's needs.
The adoption process is as follows,
1. Please complete an online adoption questionnaire
2. One of our volunteers will reach out to schedule a more in depth phone conversation.
3. If it looks like a match then a meet and greet is scheduled for all of family members to meet.
4 Home check is conducted for safety looking primarily at fences, poisonous plants, etc.
Please remember all GSDS have different temperaments therefore, its our job to ensure each get homes suited for them where they can thrive.
