The mission of Adopt Aggieland is to rescue bully breeds from area shelters and place them into compatible "forever" homes in the Brazos Valley, through a coordinated effort with partner shelters, volunteers, and the Aggieland community.

Additional adoption info

Our dogs are placed into family situations only, we do not place dogs for the purpose of guarding, hunting, fighting, or breeding.

Adoption fee of $250

All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

All current pets must be spayed and neutered.

Previous large breed ownership experience preferred.

Demonstrated responsible dog ownership, and primary care giver of a dog (INCLUDING Spay/Neuter of current family pets)

Dog must live INSIDE as a member of the adopter’s family.

Must live within a reasonable travel distance to the foster family and be willing to travel to and from the foster home.

If you rent, we require a letter from your landlord giving you permission to keep this breed of dog on the premises and there are no insurance problems.

If you do not meet these minimum requirements, please wait until your circumstances change before applying to adopt.

Our Promise to You:

All dogs will be up to date on vaccines, including rabies, DHLPP, and bordetella (kennel cough). All dogs will be spayed/neutered before leaving our care.

Dogs are treated for parasites upon entrance to rescue. Dogs will be parasite free and up to date on heartworm preventative upon adoption.

We are only as successful as our adoptions, therefore we are always here to answer your questions about your new family member. Contact us anytime!
