Story
Durango was found in a Target parking lot as a very small kitten, and under the loving care of a Purr Partners fosterer, has thrived!Durango is quite the character! He is very playful, comes running up to his foster mom when she gets home and will meow until he gets picked up and loved on! He purrs so loud when he is happy. He loves to get a drink out of the bathroom faucet or play in the water dripping. He loves to chase toys or pick up crumbled paper and carry it around. Durango along great with his foster's cats and kittens and absolutely adores his foster's Golden Retrievers, and he loves to snuggle next to them. Durango jumps on the bed at night so he can snuggle and make biscuits as he falls asleep next to his foster mom. Durango is a very interactive male kitten who loves to play with all his siblings - even his foster mom's bigger cats - and he seeks out his fosterer's Golden Retrievers to play.Durango is a very confident boy who comes running up to his foster mom when he hears her voice, and he meows to be picked up and snuggled! He loves to sleep cuddled up next to his foster mom.Durango will definitely need a playmate to keep him busy - maybe his foster brother, Ferdinand, who is 1 month older. To meet Durango and other adoptable Purr Partners kitties at one of our weekend adoptathon events, 1) review our adoption policies at https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/policies/ and 2) then apply to become a pre-approved adopter at https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/cats/For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/

Story
Sundance is a timid but tenderhearted sweetheart. While he’s not a fan of dogs and can be a bit uneasy around loud, energetic kids, he bonds beautifully with other kittens once he gets to know them. Sundance enjoys quiet naps and will surprise you with sudden bursts of affection during his “cuddle fits.” He loves wrestling with his foster kitty siblings and retreating to his favorite cozy spot under the bed for a snooze. This gentle boy is looking for a calm, loving home where he can blossom. For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/

Declawed
Story
Boulder is a stunning gray long-haired gentleman. He and his twin brother Bond were rescued from an overcrowded situation where they were bullied and not given much of any attention. Although very shy and cautious when first rescued he is thriving in his quiet foster home, becoming the kitty he was meant to be. While still cautious in new surroundings, he now enjoys attention from his fosters and will rub up against them for pets. Boulder is friendly and affectionate, making him a good match as a loving companion in a quiet home. He will need a patient and understand adopter, one who is willing to give him time to adjust to a new environment and feel safe. At 6 yrs old he’s also playful—especially when it comes to wand toys, which he’ll energetically chase.Boulder gets along well with the resident cat and could be comfortable in a home with another cat or two. He will do best in a quiet home with adults who have cat experience and a knowledge of the needs of a declawed cat. He will need time to settle in and become comfortable in his new home to become the sweet boy that he is. Especially as a declawed cat he must never be allowed outside where it's unsafe. Looking for a pair of big beautiful grey boys? Boulder has a sweet brother who is more shy and will need time to adjust to a new home. Boulder can be adopted by himself or with his brother. If you’re looking for a handsome, sweet cat with a dash of personality and playfulness, and you have the patience to allow a kitty to become comfortable in your home, Boulder could be your guy. Ask to meet him—you just might fall in love. 💙Bond is Boulder's twin brother who is the more shy of the two. He will need extra time to become comfortable in a new home and around people. We're not sure at this time if he would become more comfortable around people if he was adopted with Bond or by himself allowing him to become more dependent on a human for socialization. He would definitely need someone patient and experienced with cats and in a quiet home. If this sounds like you submit an application and talk to us about Bond. We want to find him the loving home he deserves. For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/

Story
(DOB 01/20/2021) Mia is a low-maintenance pup and is always up for a snuggle session. With her gentle nature and affectionate personality, she's the perfect companion for anyone seeking a furry friend to share their love and affection with. Mia's heart is as big as her adorable paws, making her the ultimate snuggle buddy. Don't miss out on the chance to bring this sweet and easy-going girl into your life! Mia will do well with furry siblings or an owner that can provide enough attention so she could also be an only dog. She is also good with children but is startled by quick/sudden movements. So older, more experienced dog-kiddos are best suited for her. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Other than that, she really loves everyone she meets. She is already both house and crate trained and is well behaved in her crate. She enjoys going out for walks and is leash trained. She is learning new things like car rides and is a little nervous at first but settles in nicely on the drive. Mia has the silkiest ears with the cutest little freckles on them. She has a smile that will warm your heart and radiate throughout the day. She is at a great age and is a wonderful mid-size. Plus, she can do that super cute brow furrow that wrinkles up and is so adoarble. She really checks off so many boxes and will add so much love to you and your family!! If you are looking for a lifetime of unconditional love, Mia wants to meet you! Fill out an application today! As part of Mia's $300 adoption fee she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. If you have any questions about this girl you can email dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Mia, you can fill out an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet tab on our website www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##1652954##

Story
(DOB 02/23/2025) Eno, short for Enoch, is an active, happy-go-lucky pup who’s always ready for fun! With his soft, floppy ears and big heart, he’s a people-pleaser who gets along wonderfully with everyone he meets both humans (kids & adults) and fellow dogs. Eno loves to run, play, and explore, and when the day winds down, he’s just as content to curl up on his dog bed or favorite chair for a cozy nap. This young boy is smart and eager to learn. He already knows to sit before meals and is working on perfecting his leash manners; he’s improving every day with consistent practice. So make sure you are ready for a big, happy daily walking buddy! He is also all about car rides, and Eno is happy to go with you wherever you are headed!! After a busy day, he's ready for some chill time. At night, he sleeps soundly on his bed or chair, dreaming of the next day’s adventures. Eno thrives on activity and social time, so a home with another playful dog would be fantastic, though he’d also do well as an only dog if his family can give him plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. He’s good with kids and even cats, though he may give them a playful chase, so a dog-savvy cat home would be ideal. After his “starter home” didn’t work out, Eno is ready to find his forever one; a place filled with love, laughter, and plenty of car rides (his favorite!). With his joyful spirit, gentle heart, and boundless enthusiasm, Eno will bring energy and affection to every day. He’s the perfect companion for an active family looking for a loyal friend and adventure buddy. As part of Eno’s $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet pup, you can email: Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Eno, you can complete an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##2565684##
