I am Deborah Charnin and have been rescuing on my own for many years with the help of some great friends. I was inspired by my mom who's maiden name was Green. Hence the name Green Dog Rescue. I also love the Green for many reasons including clean food, air, water etc. for the dogs that I rescue. They deserve the very best!

Green Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization that rescues abandoned, abused and neglected dogs. We also except owner surrenders rather than them going into a kill shelter. We are foster based for now but plan on expanding into a facility in the next few years.
Additional adoption info
Green Dog Rescue Inc. has an application and we do a home check to make sure that the pet you are adopting is going into a loving and safe environment.
We have a donation for adoption that helps us continue to help more dogs.
