PINC's Mission: Pawsitive Impact NC Dog Rescue exists to provide a better life for dogs without homes and to assist in the effort to limit the overpopulation.
Vision: Pawsitive Impact NC Dog Rescue is a local 501c3 All Breed Foster Based Rescue which envisions the day where every adoptable dog has a safe, loving, and responsible home. We look forward to a society that values and respects animals, one where people spay and neuter their pets to prevent overpopulation.

Pawsitive Impact North Carolina is a local 501c3 all breed dog rescue, outreach and community education group promoting responsible pet ownership.
We focus on dogs needing help in Union County, NC and the surrounding areas. Union County is the 10th fastest growing county in NC, so the pet population is exploding which sadly, means a lot of unwanted dogs. PINC is Union County's 1st dog rescue dedicated to saving and re-homing Union county dogs!
PINC is dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them.
By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, locals veterinarians, trainers and boarding facilities we are able to rescue more animals every month.
Our standard adoption zone is within a 50 mile radius of Monroe, NC. Applicants in our standard adoption zone have priority in adopting our rescued dogs. This is because we try to reduce the amount of travel stress that our adoptable dogs would have to endure. If you do apply to adopt a dog and you live out of our standard adoption zone, please be prepared to find a local rescue group that will conduct a home check on our behalf, and please also be prepared to come to Monroe, NC to meet/adopt the dog if your application is approved. We do not “ship” animals, even if your application has been approved.
