What makes Only Kindness Rescue unique is that we don't just rescue, foster and adopt. We go above and beyond to save lives, provide humane education, develop innovative ideas, focus on overlooked populations and at-risk animals. Our programs include low-cost spay neuter assistance, and developing municipal TNR ordinances to care for community cats and reduce the homeless. We engage and educate students to "break the cycle" of abandoned cats at colleges; and raise funds to protect pets of domestic violence victims
We mainly serve northern New Jersey but will consider adopters in NJ/NY/CT/PA within 60 miles.

Our adoption process starts with a personal conversation. We'd like to know what type of kitten/cat you are looking for. Then we would like to learn about your family and the type of living conditions you would provide our foster.
We have a short application, which includes topics from our discussion.
Once you have met and decided on one of our fosters, and he/she will be the right fit for both your family and the kitten/cat, reference checks will be made within two days.
Since we do not have a facility, our volunteers, usually the foster parent, will deliver your new family member to your home once the application is approved.
All our fosters will be up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, FIV/Felk tested and microchipped.
