Rescue FAQs

KARRA is the premier animal rescue and rehabilitation organization serving the state of Kansas.
We rescue, rehabilitate and provide a wonderful quality of life for those dogs that are "un-adoptable" in other homes, rescues and shelters, specializing in retraining and socialization, agility and obedience, senior pets, and hospice care.
At KARRA we provide a model of living for our dogs based on a home environment.

Additional adoption info

Dogs $150 (regardless of breed or age)
Cats $75 (when available)

Every new forever home adopter signs an adoption contract and agrees to a home inspection prior to adoption. All pets going to new homes are spayed/neutered, current vaccinations and basic obedience training. Each has their own 'carry on' bag containing treats, new collar and leash, their favorite toys as well as a carefully itemized list of special talents and idiosyncrasies that your new critter may have.
