We are a new 501c3, within a temporarily foster affiliated Animal Shelter. We are a no kill shelter, that serves our rural communities and towns. Our goal is to promote animal adoptions, instead of breeding, responsible pet ownership and to be asset to our communities in a variety of ways, as well as to the PETS IN NEED. We rescue and accept homeless and abandoned (dumped) animals and see to their needs as is within our capabilities. currently we additionally do demonstrations to the public on responsible pet ownership, rescue and proactively engage the public awareness on the value of Spay and Neuter.

We cover the Northern Section of Knox County, Indiana. Our Office is in Bicknell, and are a foster home affiliate. we serve the towns of Bicknell, Edwardsport, Bruceville, Oaktown, Freelandville, West Phalia, Sandborn and other surrounding rural areas.

Additional adoption info

For adoptions, we have an application and home inspections, as well as reference checks.
Since our animals ARE fully Vetted upon adoption there is a fee for each. BUT depending on whether there is a sponsor on a specific animal or group of animals or a "special" running. those fees will vary from time to time.
Our fees for cats run from 25.00 to 80.00, dogs run from 25.00 to 200.00 depending on sponsorship.
