Hendricks County Humane Society (HCHS) is a not-for-profit 501(c)-3 organization which was founded in 1970. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws and Board Policy, provide the foundation, as well as all direction, for HCHS endeavors.
HCHS programs are funded by donations, fundraising events, grants, bequests, supporterships, and memorial contributions. We do not receive tax money or government assistance. Our programs are dedicated to the purpose of “Finding homes, Saving Lives.” Donations received by HCHS are used to fund the following programs:Humane Education, Spay/Neuter Assistance, Adoption Events, TNR, Support other Community Efforts
