New bird ownership
I am an army of one, with the ability to rehabilitate almost any bird. from Sad/lonely to Happy/Playful. From scared/hurting to curious/healing. From dual colors to vibrant colors! I believe that these creatures are put in our care and we should do our best to care for them. Some people simple just don't know why their bird acts the way its does. Their can be several different possibilities and several answers. That is where I help.
I also acquired birds that need new homes. In these cases I keep the bird in my home until it is healthy enough, well socialized, non-mutilating, and in a good trusting frame of mind.
When re-homing, I will interview you over the phone to see if you and your family will be a good match. I also have clients that unfortunately, at times, have to re-home their bird babies.
In these case's You would be interview by me, and I will pass on my thoughts to the current owner. Then He//She will chose.
Thank you,
Monique

- Require the ability to afford regular vet.
- All birds are on a Harrison Pellet food Diet, and will be required to continue.
- Most be willing to have an assessment and fallow-up done of your home 2-4 weeks after rehoming.
- Most agree to return the bird if you are un-able to care fore it.
- Please, no smoking near or in the same house as the birds home.
- Most be willing to commit to this bird for the remainder of his/ or your years. Which could be 30-80yrs.
- If buying for child, will need the parents to have the same care and commitment. Due to the fact that many parents buy birds for their children, and over time their child looses interest and no longer cares for the other all well being of the bird.
Depending on the size bird determines their rehoming fee.
