Rescue FAQs

At Celine’s Cats & Canines Rescue, our logo isn’t just a design—it’s a reflection of our heart, our mission, and our journey. The puzzle-piece heart represents the many layers of rescue work: the challenges, the healing, the hope, and the love. Each color—red, blue, yellow, and green—symbolizes diversity and unity. Inside the heart, the white silhouettes of a dog and cat remind us who we’re fighting for: the animals who’ve been forgotten, abandoned, or overlooked. Our tagline, “Adopt Love, Piece by Piece,” speaks to the idea that every adoption is a step toward wholeness—for the animal, for the adopter, and for the rescue itself. This logo also reflects something deeply personal. Celine, our founder, lives with high-functioning autism. Her journey hasn’t been easy—she’s faced criticism, misunderstanding, and countless obstacles. But like the puzzle pieces in our logo, she’s built something beautiful by fitting together what others might have cast aside. Celine’s Cats & Canines Rescue is a sanctuary for those who’ve been given up on—animals and humans alike. And this logo is a symbol of resilience, compassion, and the belief that love can be built piece by piece. Her mission is to rescue, spay/neuter, microchip and medically treat as many animals as possible before finding them wonderful homes they can call their own!
