Peace Fur Paws works with multiple animal rescue groups by fundraising, collecting desperately needed supplies, food, donations, fund medical care, assist in adoptions, as well as raise awareness of animal welfare issues. We are also the Toronto volunteer group for Animals Asia, a charity devoted to ending the barbaric bear bile, cat and dog meat trade.

Additional adoption info
Our rescued cats and kittens have all been vet checked, dewormed, vaccinated, and spay/neutered (if old enough). With kittens who are not spayed or neutered yet, the adopter is required to sign a spay/neuter contract and have the surgery done at our rescue vet within an appropriate time, as part of the adoption fee. The fee is $150 for cats, and $175 for kittens, who require the 2 part vetting. Our adopted cats can never be declawed, and should circumstances arise that the adopter must surrender their adopted pet, Peace Fur Paws must be notified. Please note that we are all 100% volunteer based so please be patient with us but we will get back to you asap.
