We previously managed the operations of a no-kill shelter in central Texas for several years, and have fostered hundreds of dogs in our home. All Half-Wag House adoptable dogs live in our home with our own personal dogs, where they receive constant attention, love, supervision, and exposure to people and other dogs of all shapes and sizes. NONE of our dogs are kept in crates or pens.

Additional adoption info
We require all potential adopters to meet their prospective new family member in person at an agreed-upon location in southwestern Washington. Other specific household requirements are dependent upon the dog in question. Our adoption fee includes all basic vaccinations up until the time the dog leaves our care, and spay/neuter if the dog is old enough while in our care. For puppies, we require adopters to sign a contract promising to spay/neuter the puppy when it is old enough.
