Animal rescue in Callao, VA

We are a rescue dedicated to rehabbing dogs and putting training into them so they do not end up back in a shelter. We do take in dogs who show potential to train for service dogs in the long run as a way to try to provide a low cost way for those needing a service dog to be able to get one.

Rescue FAQs

We have pulled dogs in need from as far south as Ga. (so far) We do NOT discriminate based on breed or age. We will pull from and adopt to anywhere we can find transport to/from and can find reputable home-checkers.

Additional adoption info

All requirements are on a case by case basis, lack of fence or home ownership does not immediately cancel your ability to adopt, we do NOT allow electric fencing or any "punitive training devices or practices" (electricity, prongs, chokes, ETC). our contract will be emailed upon approval OR brought with us to be signed when home-check and final adoption is done. Fees are variable based on age and needs... the best home will sometimes be chosen, though usually we are a first come first serve basis. All dogs will complete a training program with their new owners after adoption.
