The Union County Humane Society was established in 1996 and opened the county's first animal shelter in 2008. We are an open admissions shelter, which means we never turn animals away from our door. We are a 501 C 3 non profit organization and depend mainly on donations from caring friends like you. Your donations are tax deductible. UCHS also has an in house low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination clinic. Surgeries are done on Wednesday by appointment.
