Spay Illinois is a statewide non-profit organization working to end the suffering and euthanasia or companion animals in Illinois by providing widespread access to low-cost spay/neuter. In addition to operating a spay/neuter clinic, we provide low-cost vaccines, general wellness care, and rescue and adoptions.

We begin our adoptions process with an application, reviewed by staff. Approval requires veterinary references and landlord contacts be checked. Upon approval, we set up a meet and greet with families. Should everything go smoothly, pets are available to go home. Every pet goes home spay/neutered, vaccinated, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped.
