The Gecko Sanctuary is a small scale rescue dedicated to helping geckos, and other reptiles, in need within Massachusetts. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome these animals as well as work towards educating owners, breeders, and pet stores on the care reptiles require so the need for rescue can diminish.
We are a 501c3 organization and an approved animal rescue within the state of Massachusetts.
This rescue doesn’t have any adoptable pets right now – check out adoptable pets nearby or start a custom pet search below.
We are a network of foster homes throughout Eastern Massachusetts and we can currently adopt to residents of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York.
Additional adoption info
To adopt from The Gecko Sanctuary we require an application be completed that includes two references. Adopters must agree to provide the animals pet-only homes (no breeding) and agree to house the animal individually as we do not support cohabitation.
Adopters must be 21+ and provide proof that the animal is allowed in their residence.
Adoption fees range from $20-$35 depending on species.
