Fur Kids Pet Rescue is a private non-profit (NO KILL) rescue organization that rescues dogs from local shelters, off the streets, and through a community outreach to help owners place their pets...if they must part. All of our rescued animals are fostered in volunteer's private homes. We are not a shelter.

The volunteers at Fur Kids Pet Rescue, Inc. would love to talk to you about the Pets that we have in our rescue. However please be patient as we are volunteers and sometime it takes some time to return all of the calls that we receive daily. When we do speak you will be asked some questions then for a veterinary reference. We will also be happy to answer any questions you may have. Once the interview is complete and you are approved you will be asked when you would be available to make the trip to Ocala, FL to visit the pet or pets that you are interested in. Please be aware that some of the pets that we receive get many inquiries. We do not adopt on a first come first serve basis but once you are approved please be willing to make the trip to Ocala as soon as possible. We update our adopted pets daily so if you see them on our site they are more than likely still here but may have an adoption pending.
