Rescue FAQs

We are based out of Alexandria, MN with fosters in the surrounding areas. We have adopted out to various surrounding cities/counties as well. There is no limitation to where we serve. Any out of state interest would need to come to us to adopt.

Additional adoption info

Anyone who is interested in one of our pets needs to first meet them.

If they feel a connection to the animal and want to pursue further they would fill out an adoption application. Part of the adoption application asks for references which are checked prior to approval or non approval for adoption.

A home visit is scheduled to see what type of environment the dog would be living in. This would also be a good time to check and see how the adoptable pet would be with any other household pets. If all of these steps are successful, the rescue reviews the process and comes to a conclusion. And hopefully a new family member will be added to your household!
