FIDO's Companion Rescue Inc

Dog rescue in Avon, OH

We operate out of Avon, Ohio. We primarily rescue dogs from the Lorain County Dog Kennel and other Dog Pounds before they are put to sleep. We secondarily assist with taking in homeless stray dogs and funding the spay/neuter of homeless dogs and cats for other independent local rescuers and vet clinics who take them in off the street and work to rehome them. Lastly, we provide and fund the transportation for all adopted dogs going to vet clinics for the Mandatory Spay & Neuter Program at the Lorain County Dog Kennel.

Additional adoption info

If you wish to adopt one of our great pets, go to our website at www.fidoscompanion.com and submit an application on our adoption page. Once your application is submitted and approved, we can set up a time for you to meet the dog(s) you are interested in. We do not operate on a first come, first serve basis. We strive to find the most compatible home for our dogs and look for adopters who are certain they want to make a lifetime commitment to our rescued dogs. We also require a home visit as a part of our adoption process. If we do not have an animal that interests you, we may be able to help put you in contact with the many other organizations with which we network. ADOPTION FEES - Individual fees apply based on each dog rescued. See individual dog's bio for adoption fees that apply.
