We started our small shelter in March 2009, Prior to that we helped other rescues. Decided we would go on our own. We are retired so we do not take a paycheck. All are volunteers and loving every day of this life. We have had many pets come in and need extensive vet care out of our pocket. We do not flaunt the poor animals to get extra donations. Once they are ready to be adopted we'll have them up for adoption. We do get in young puppies and kittens at times. We have a wonderful vet that will spay/neuter them at eight weeks old, providing they are healthy enough.
