We are a small all breed dog rescue specializing in the rescue of dogs on death row. We strive to place healthy , loving companion animals in their forever families, allowing them to forget about their past. We sum up what we strive to do, By saying. We Rescue, Rehab, and ReHome.
We are a 501c3 non profit. All donations are100% tax deductible. We are all volunteers, no one takes a salary, every penny goes directly to the dogs in our care. Our adoption fees are a donation to the rescue, and only assist us in getting another dog off death row, once someone has adopted one. With us, when you rescue and adopted one, you are in fact saving 2 lives.
We know it takes a village to do this job, so we are always looking for like minded animal lovers to assist us in rescue, training, volunteering, caring for , walking, bathing, fostering, transporting, and helping at adoption events. We welcome everyone with an open heart to join our team. Donations of blankets, comforters, towels, sheets and anything dog related are always welcome and greatly appreciated.,we have a lot of rescuing to do, as we are still contending with many very high kill shelters, and people, who refuse to spay and neuter their animals..:((((
>Resulting in thousands of healthy, wonderful, sweet , but homeless animals, that are weekly euthanized just for the space.
Our goal is to educate, and extend our service to every animal in need we possibly can. We need more open hearts, homes and arms to help us make a much bigger difference. Could that be you? Please contact us anytime.
Thanks so much..,<3

Additional adoption info
Our adoption process starts with an application. We review the application, check references then either have a phone call or a meeting to hear about the family and what type of dog they are looking for. We strive to place dogs and families by matching their personalities and lifestyles so everyone benefits. We want Forever homes for the dogs we have taken off death row.
We don't base our adoptions on a first come, first serve basis , but rather ,choosing the best home for the dog, and the best pet for each individual family.
So far this has worked out extremely well .
We stay in touch with our adoptive families, and receive pictures and updates on how everyone is doing.
This is another way to help in having dogs returned to us because of incompatibility.
Our adoption fees are solely based on our out of pocket costs of getting out of the shelter, addressing injuries or immediate health needs, medications, flea, tick and heartworm preventative,, shots, and regular vetting, worming, spay/neutering,micro chipping, In the cases of pregnant moms, we do x-rays, ultrasounds, and often find that these neglected moms require c sections. By the time we have a dog ready for adoption in our rescue, they have been through a great deal of care, and all costs are out of pocket. It's rare these days to ever get a dog out of a shelter that isn't very ill requiring sometimes a couple months of care, before we can put them on our adoptables list.
Our donation request for adoptable
adult dogs is 250.00
puppies 300.00
seniors150.00
We have found that in the past 4 years we average anywhere from $300-$700 per dog out of pocket expenses. Some as much as $5000.00.. Rescue is NOT about money, and we are aware we will never even break even, we just need to be able to afford to get them out of the shelters, get whatever medical care and medications necessary, pay for food, and necessities and keep our doors open.
