Additional adoption info
Our process requires a free application, a home visit by a SWCR volunteer, phone or physical visits with our foster families, and matching up the dog with the adopter with the dog. We run about a 98% success rate which means we really spend a good deal of time making the adoption process successful. Our adopters pay a minimal fee for a fully vetted and spayed/neutered dog. Our adoption contract requires the adopted dog be returned to us for any reason he/she can not stay with the adopter. We will refund the adoption fee if the adopter would like us to do that.
