Wheeker's Guinea Pig Rescue is located in northwestern Indiana. While we mainly serve the Indiana area, we do take in/adopt out to people in the Chicago, southeastern Wisconsin, & Michigan. Wheeker's started in February 2010 and has sinced placed over 250 animals in loving homes. With your support, we hope to continue taking in & finding homes for guinea pigs and other small animals.
Additional adoption info
Wheeker's requires all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application. We do reserve the right to deny any applications where we feel the animal(s) won't be in a safe, loving, & knowledgeable environment. After an adopter is approved, we set up a day & time for you to come meet/adopt your chosen animal(s). At the time of adoption, all adopters must sign a contract which states that any animals adopted from us MUST be returned to us if the adopter is no longer able to care for/no longer wants the animals.
Adoption Fees:
All guinea pigs over the age of 6 months: $25 for one or $40 for a same sex pair.
All guinea pigs 6 months and younger: $35 for one or $60 for a same sex pair.
