We are a small, non-profit rescue group in Northern California focused on finding loving, permanent homes for Australian Shepherd dogs acquired from Animal Care Service facilities and individuals. We are always interested in meeting caring volunteers who want to help out at the Sanctuary, foster dogs, or help out at local events.

Additional adoption info
All Adopters must fill out an Adoption Application (available at our website) FIRST; the application includes family (2 and 4-legged) information, personal & vet references, why you want an Aussie, and what you want to do with your Aussie. It does take time to screen applications, so please be patient. If you've submitted an application but haven't received a response within a week, please e-mail us. Be sure to include the name and e-mail address on the application! Because we do pre-screen Adopters, very rarely will we adopt to anyone outside of California.
