NLK9 was formed in 2012, we focus on dogs and puppies from high kill shelters across Virginia and North Carolina. We also focus on spreading awareness and how it is not safe to place dogs for free on craigslist, we try to contact owners and have them surrender the pets to us.

We serve all of Hampton Roads & neighboring cities. As well as North-East NC

Additional adoption info

Prior to adoption we require an adoption application and contract, we do a reference check and we request two personal references. We will also do a house check for anyone wanting to adopt or foster. If we have a puppy available for adoption, that is not old enough to be spayed or neutered, we do require you to sign a spay neuter contract as well.

Our standard adoption fee is $125 and all pets are utd on shots, hw and flea preventative and they are spayed/neutered if age appropriate.
