We were founded in 2012, when Dr. Whitney Wright saw a need for a no-kill rescue in Webster County, Kentucky. She began taking unwanted dogs into her home and adopting them to loving families. Molly's Mutts Animal Rescue was named after Dr. Wright's "first child", her lhasa apso, Molly. We are always looking for more volunteers to help foster or spend time with our "visitors." We were granted our 501c3 status from the IRS. We recently built a beautful facility in our local city of Dixon,KY!

Additional adoption info
We require all potential adopters to fill out an application that gives us some basic information about the adopters, their intentions for their new pet, and references. All of our dogs have an adoption fee, since we make sure they are all up to date on shots, worming, flea and tick prevention, and are either spayed/neutered or sent to their furever home with a voucher if they are under 5 months. We also have adopters sign a basic contract and require that if for any reason they need to give up their dog, he/she is returned to us.
