We want to be their VOICE! Helping Every Animal Live Society Inc. is a Not-for-profit Organization that is determined to help stop the euthanization of innocent animals in our shelters throughout the United States. We do this by rescuing the sheltered animals that are set to be EUTHANIZE (put to death) because they were never adopted or because the shelter is running out of room

Additional adoption info
All applications are carefully screened by Helping Every Animal Live Society (H.E.A.L.S) adoption staff. With all of our adoptions, we talk with the potential adopters in detail about the animal in whom they are interested, especially if the animal has special needs. If the potential adopter does not have a particular animal in mind, the adoption coordinator will discuss with the person what sort of (ex: dog) might be best for his/her lifestyle. Once an application is approved, the potential adopter is required to go through a home check. The home check ensures that the animal is going into a safe and comfortable environment and that the adoption is the right fit for the animal and the potential adopter. The home check is done by a H.E.A.L.S member in the potential adopter’s geographical area. We use a network of H.E.A.L.S members across the country to perform home checks. There is an adoption donation of $275, which covers the costs of neutering, vaccinations and micro chipping. H.E.A.L.S adoption staff also does follow-up after each adoption to ensure that the animal is adjusting well to his/her new home and everyone is happy with the new member of the family. Follow-up phone calls or e-mails are done at three days, three weeks and three months after adoption.
