Southern Belle Dog Rescue is a new and upcoming rescue based out of Gonzales, LA. We, at Southern Belle are a dog only rescue. Southern Belle does rescue all different breeds, but we primarily deal with larger breeds. We have chosen larger breeds; pits, labs, boxers, etc., because everybody wants to give the smaller breeds a chance, so we have promised to be the voice for the ones that everybody overlooks. We are here to make a difference.

If you are thinking about adopting a dog remember, they are a part of your family for life.

Our adoption fee is $140; which covers the dog/puppy to be dewormed, vaccinated up to appropriate age upon adoption, started on heartworm prevention, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. If the dog has any illnesses or needed medical attention, it will be taken care of before they are ready for adoption.
