I am a small rescue that started as a TNR program and has branched into a "Feral to Family" rescue for kittens that are socialized to indoor life with people. All kittens/cats are up to date on shots, Felv/Fiv tested, and are neutered or come with a pre-paid voucher for sterilization.
All pets are acclimated to a household environment. we try to keep the use of cages to a minimum so that each pet will be familiar to indoor home life and the noises/movements that come with it.
I am strictly non-profit and all adoption fees go to the medical care of the animals.
Donations are graciously appreciated and can be made to Riverfront Animal Hospital 721 N Larch St, Lansing, MI 48906 (517 487-3646) under the name of Turner/Herbison TNR Program CURRENT CAPACITY: FULL

What started out as a TNR project (trap, neuter, release) for an over-population of feral cats in the North Lansing/Dewitt area. We added a rescue for "feral to family" animals that show potential of socialization. I am a small operation, just myself and family doing all the work. All cats are healthy, happy and raised like family; we make every effort to limit cage time and raise each one as part of the family (but they will be much happier when they have found their forever home).
Additional adoption info
There is an application process. All accepted applicants must sign a contract prior to adoption. Adoption fees are posted for each pet so be sure to read the entire description for each animal!! This helps pay expenses for shots, and sterilization. All other expenses come out of our pocket. Donations always appreciated.
