J&H Quality Cat Rescue was founded by Judith Bright and Helen Yetsko, good friends who share a love of felines. Judith and Helen both worked for the junior Humane Society and local shelters prior to starting the rescue. There is a serious problem with the over population of cats in Santa Rosa and Escambia County because there are no local laws mandating that people have their pets spayed and neutered. Hundreds of cats are euthanized in shelters everyday and J&H is hoping to change that outcome for as many cats as possible.
