The Animal Care & Control Division of the Town of Estancia Police Department is committed to protecting the safety of citizens and animals within our community. Our goals are to create partnerships within the community in order to promote responsible pet ownership, decrease the overpopulation of domestic pets through spay-neuter programs, and to place adoptable animals in forever homes. Animal Care & Control is a multifaceted agency dedicated to providing the citizens of Estancia with animal care services and resources. We are an organization that values community partnerships and working jointly to build a better world for animals and the people who own them. The Town of Estancia Animal Care & Control takes pride in initiating and implementing progressive programs and practices.

Additional adoption info
At this time we are working on getting a contract with one of our local veterinary clinics, so there is a reduced adoption fee of $25 at this time allowing you to have your new pet vaccinated and sterilized at your own vet! Proof must be provided within 14 days of adoption unless otherwise stated in the adoption contract. If you are adopting from the Town of Estancia Animal Control we do have an adoption contract and require a Town of Estancia animal license if you live within the town limits. As we only have one staff member that does animal control and adoptions it may take a little time to return calls, we hope you understand!
