After years of rescuing dogs and cats through Dublin Creek Kennel, we made our rescue efforts official by founding the Dublin Creek Animal Foundation in 2011. The Dublin Creek Animal Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue organization. Our goal is to help deserving animals who have no voice, get the chance at a better life. Our love for animals doesn’t allow us to look the other way. We are in a position to help, so we do.
Most of our dogs and cats are rescued from overcrowded, high kill animal shelters where the animals are at risk for euthanasia. Many times we pick them the day they are due to be put to sleep. We are literally these animals last hope.
All of our rescue animals are spayed and neutered and vaccinated prior to being adopted out. We also treat them for any other medical problems that they may have. They get daily human interaction, play time with people and other dogs and neighborhood walks. Many of them receive basic training while with us as well.
If you are interested in hearing more about one of our animals you can call us at (925) 828-5355.

Additional adoption info
All of our rescue animals are vaccinated prior to being adopted out, treated for any medical problems they may have, spayed/neutered, and given daily interaction and socialization. Additionally many of our pets receive basic training with us. The adoption fees range from $100 to $300 per dog, and $50 to $100 per cat. There is an adoption application and interview process before adopting a pet. For adopting out dogs, we must meet all family members ahead of time as well as any other dogs that are part of the family. For adopting out cats, we need to meet the family ahead of time and require all cats be totally indoors.
