Shelter FAQs

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals. We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
We take in pets from Ritchie County. We adopt to families from surrounding cities, counties, and states.
