Love Habitat Rescue

Animal rescue in Los Angeles, CA

Love Habitat Rescue is located in Southern California (San Fernando Valley). We rescue dogs for shelters to prevent euthanasia and find them loving foster and adoptive homes. We specialize in dogs with injuries and treatable health issues that place them at even higher risk of being killed in the shelters. We then provide all the necessary treatments so that they are healthy and ready for adoption. Our founder has been involved with animal rescue for many years both in Northern and Southern California. Her passion is being the voice for these discarded shelter animals. The rescue also has several dedicated volunteers to assist in finding foster and forever homes for these precious pups. Thank you so much for considering a Love Habitat Rescue.

Additional adoption info

When inquiring about a pet your are interested in, please provide some details about your household, including number of adults, number of children, children's ages, types of current pets, and experience as pet owners. Our process includes a basic introduction by email, a phone call to address any questions or concerns, and a meet and greet. All of our adoptions require an adoption application and contract. There is an adoption fee that goes back into the rescue to allow us to save more animals. In general, the adoption fee varies from $200 to $350. In some cases, dogs have received extensive medical care making their adoption expense a bit higher. Those funds can then be used for the next dog in need. Home checks for fencing, etc. is done on all potential adoptive homes. We are currently only adopting animals out to local homes in the souther California area where we can personally meet the families that want to love these special dogs and cats forever.
