From the creator, Marissa Bernhofer: "I currently have my Associate in Arts Degree and am now going through the process of going through school (right now I am at Pima Medical Institute to become a Liscenced Veterinary Technician). I have volunteered for many shelters over the years, and have done 3 years now at basic dog training and therapy/service dog training skills. I got medically retired from the Marine Corps, so right now my heart and soul is being put into re-homing animals that have been abused or abandoned! I am completely emersing myself in the animal world; from training, rescues, and becoming a veterinary technician. My plan is to do all I can to help the animals because our fur babies show us an unconditional love that us as people just don't have!"

We currently serve the Greater Northwest area of Washington State. Many of our rescues are brought from California and our South East states like NC/SC/GA... In areas like those many dogs are put down every day just because of lack of space, we pull animals in need from the shelters and find them their amazing forever homes!
