Dog rescue in Centerpoint, IN

Rescuing and Training Dogs for Service, Therapy and Companionship. Many excellent dogs are left in shelters by the owner because the dog is hyper or destructive. These dogs are usually highly intelligent and therefore need a job. By bringing these dogs into our program, we give the dog a home through training the dog and new owner. Also this gives shelters space and resources to care for dogs that are neglected and abused. Many good dog owners cannot afford to purchase a highly trained dog. We rescue the dogs, train them and adopt the dog out to people who need a service dog, a therapy dog or simply an excellent companion dog. The dogs listed on adopt a pet are companion dogs. Unless the dogs is a puppy, our dogs know basic obedience, have been house trained, socialized, neutered/spayed and have all shots. All of these dogs came from a shelter or another rescue. We are a non profit 501 (c) 3 organization. We rely on donations and volunteers.

Additional adoption info

Fees begin at $125.00. Most of our dogs are adults and have been spayed/neutered. However, when we adopt out a puppy we require that the dog is spayed/neutered at 6 months of age. Puppies have a higher adoption fee because it includes paying for the spay/neuter in advance. We help the new owner set up an appointment with their vet in advance and transfer the funds directly to the vet. We do require a follow up regarding spay/neuter. Each dog and each human have different needs, our goal is the find a perfect match and support the owner through education to create a forever home for the dog.
