We are a family owned, 100% volunteer run animal rescue. We take in unwanted, abused, deathrow, and owner surrendered animals. We provide worming, vaccines and vet care with the funds we have available. We rely entirely on outside donations for the food, vaccinations and health care. We offer Sponsor-A-Pet and Sponsor-Adoption. We are always looking for volunteers in our state and others we pull from and adopt to.

We are based in Hardy County, West Virginia. We have rescued and adopted to other counties in West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. We are currently trying to save animals in other states as well, such as North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee.
Additional adoption info
We do not require an application fee but we do require an application be completed for every animal someone is wanting to adopt. We require personal references, information on your employment, you home, letter from landlord if you rent, and information on your current or past veterinarian. We do check references and do home visit to verify you have acceptable home situation and room for the animal in which you are applying to adopt. Once information has been verified and a home check has been done we let you meet your new perspective family member. If you connect with the animal and the animal connects with you and your other pets if any then we allow you to take the animals home. We require a spay/neuter contract to be signed and we follow up by checking with the veterinarian you use and doing at least 2 additional home visits.
